Leader in online channel management technologies, RateTiger has launched a new version of RTAllocator Pro (version 2.6) with enhanced performance and new features. This new version has been distributed as an automatic update to all existing customers.
The new features of this 2.6 version are:
Tax and Commission for supplementary rates
The tax / commission set up window in the Roomtype Selection screen now also enables users to setup tax and commission for supplementary rates / room types, for example package rates, occupancy based rates and alike. Please click "M" in the left corner to set up tax and commission for the supplementary rates.
Note: Rate / Roomtype level tax and commission settings will overwrite room level data which you set in the website selection screen or under Settings.
Hot Date
The Hot Date Calendar will now allow for selecting different colours for different events. This will allow for better identification of events within the Maintenance Screen.
Generic Roomtype
The new Generic Roomtype function will allow you to group various room types together which can subsequently be chosen for update by using the Generic Roomtype (called Room Category). This will save time while trying to only update single, double and junior suites.

Once the “Generic Roomtype” is configured, it can be selected within the “Website Selection” screen:
There will now be 2 tabs available:
Variable weight per day/season
Currently you can set up weight values at site level as well as on room type level. From now on you will also be able to setup weight values per day or season. You will find this new option in the "Weights" screen.
Calculator in the day wise Mark up module
The day wise Mark up / Tax setup window now has an in-built calculator to assist in calculating the sell rate vis-à-vis the extranet rate.
