Hampton by Hilton Reaches 3,000th Hotel Milestone
Hampton by Hilton celebrated the opening of its 3,000th hotel. The Hampton brand is known for its several hospitality mainstays, such as hot breakfast with The Hampton Waffle, all-white bedding, and curved shower rods. In addition to opening its 3,000th hotel, this year marks a year of milestones for Hampton, including the brand’s 40th anniversary, entry into its 40th country, and a groundbreaking entry into its fifth continent, Africa. Hampton is also celebrating 10 years in China, 400 properties in China, and 15 years in EMEA that began with Hampton by Hilton Corby/Kettering.
IHG introduces flexible suite brand prototypes for developers
IHG Hotels & Resorts (IHG), one of the world’s leading hotel companies with more than 6,300 hotels across 19 global brands, announces the availability of new prototype options for its three suites brands – Staybridge Suites, Candlewood Suites and Atwell Suites. By expanding design choices, IHG provides greater flexibility for developers across a range of site configurations and market types while maintaining the experiences guests expect in the rapidly growing suites space.
Indian Hotels Company Surpasses Growth Goals: 300+ Hotels Ahead of Schedule, 52 Signed, 34 Open
In the fiscal year 2024, the Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), the largest hospitality company in India, continues its rapid portfolio expansion with 52 signings and 34 openings. Surpassing its market expectations outlined in Ahvaan 2025, IHCL now boasts a portfolio of over 300 hotels and an impressive pipeline of over 90 hotels, solidifying its position as an industry leader.
Lemon Tree Hotel debuts in Himachal Pradesh: Kasauli
Lemon Tree Hotels Limited announces the opening of Lemon Tree Hotel, Kasauli. This is the group’s fourth property in the scenic state of Himachal Pradesh. This beautiful, elegant hotel, with 49 keys, will open in two phases. Of the 49 well-appointed rooms and suites, 28 opened on the 28th of March, along with Citrus Café—a multi-cuisine coffee shop, an expansive banquet space, and a conference facility as a part of phase I of the launch. The remaining rooms, Slounge—a hip recreation bar, Fresco—a rejuvenating spa, and the fitness centre will open shortly thereafter as part of phase II.
Hotels in Morocco: More Authentic
With United Airlines starting non-stop flights from Newark to Marrakesh, Morocco will become an easy-to-reach travel and tourism destination for Americans. As tourists turn to more authentic travel adventures, Morocco finds itself on the unique receiving end as a hot destination to do just that. Currently, 36 hotel projects are being constructed, adding over 6,300 rooms to available accommodations.
