Hilton expands NoMad Hotels with Sydell Group acquisition
Hilton announced it has acquired a majority controlling interest in Sydell Group to expand the NoMad Hotels brand from its existing London flagship location to markets around the world. The addition of NoMad to Hilton’s brand portfolio marks the company’s entry into the fast-growing luxury lifestyle hotel market with a brand defined by food and beverage, interior design, and service.
The Rockley’ Opens on the South Coast of Barbados
The Rockley opened on March 27 on the South Coast of Barbados, celebrating the local vibe with a hip new hotel experience in the Rockley Beach area known for its lively bars, signature restaurants, and authentic island experiences. The Rockley, previously known as the South Beach hotel, features a playful new design after an extensive renovation and rebrand. The property is situated just steps from the white sand and sparkling water of Rockley Beach, with rates starting at £200 a night.

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), the foremost player in India’s hospitality sector, unveiled its latest venture—a luxurious resort located adjacent to Joka along Diamond Harbour Road, nestled in the vibrant city of Kolkata.
Commenting on the signing, Ms. Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development, IHCL said, “This signing is another step in IHCL expanding its footprint in Kolkata, a thriving metropolitan state capital. Accor to open a new Sofitel in India
Accor, a world-leading hospitality group, announces the signing of a partnership agreement with EBU Estate Developers Private Limited for the development of a Sofitel hotel in India, the Sofitel Jaipur Jawahar Circle. The luxury hotel is scheduled to open its doors in 2028 and promises to redefine hospitality in the vibrant city of Jaipur.
