Kathy Hochul, the Governor of New York, declared that the state of New York State in 2022 has welcomed a record of 291.5 million visitors. It’s the largest number of visitors that this US state has welcomed in history. This generated over $78.6 billion in direct spending, followed by $123 billion in total financial impact. The information was published today in a series of reports by Tourism Economics.
