Metasearch power plays: What hoteliers need to know about staying competitive

Metasearch sites account for over 45% of global unique visitors in travel, according to PACE Dimensions’ analysis of SimilarWeb data for the top 10,000 travel websites. This is greater than the proportion of unique visitors for OTAs, both globally and in the US.

A collection of luxury hotel brand in England, AB Hotels has partnered with eRevMax to get maximum benefit from real-time rate intelligence and competitor price analysis to maintain its market leadership position. Two properties of the group Arch London and Sopwell House St Albans have selected RateTigerShopper to get live alerts on rate changes and rate reports for upto 3 years in advance.

Singgasana Hotels and Resorts, a leading property chain in Indonesia, has recently completed integration with eRevMax’s RateTiger Suite to help them modernise and revolutionise the way their guests make bookings and reservations. Before this integration, offline communications were responsible for the majority of bookings at Singgasana hotels. The Group were looking for a superior channel manager at a time when Indonesia is expected to be the fastest growing travel market in APAC region by 2015.
